Insert Citation to Word Document

  • Open a blank word document
  • Ensure the Style is set to your required style.

To insert a Citation

1. 

  • Place your mouse cursor at a point in the text where you would like to insert a citation
  • Click on Insert Citation
  • Search for a reference (use the author or a keyword from the title)
  • Click on Insert

OR

  • Go to your EndNote library and highlight one or more references
  • Go back to Word and select the option Insert Selected Citation(s)
