Mendeley : Get Started

You will need an account to use Mendeley.

Use the Mendeley Desktop to build and organize your collection of references and documents, which you can sync with the web and mobile versions. Drag & drop PDF files into the Desktop to instantly create references. Annotate PDFs with highlights and sticky notes as you read them.

Adding the Web Importer to your favorite web browser makes it easy to import references and documents from academic databases.

MacOS: Microsoft Word 2011 and 2016.
Windows: Microsoft 2010, 2013 and 2016.

Libre Office
Linux: same version as packaged by the supported Debian/Ubuntu
MacOS: LibreOffice 5
Windows: LibreOffice 5

Look for the Install link in the Tools menu of Mendeley Desktop.

Note: Mendeley Cite is an Add-in, so you need to have appropriate permissions to install Add-ins.
