Scopus: Create Alerts

Create alerts

Alerts send you email notices when a search renders a new results set, when a document of an author is cited in Scopus, or when a document is cited in Scopus. There is not a limit to the number of alerts you can create.

Search Alert

A Search alert is a saved search that you can schedule at certain intervals. If any new results are found, you will receive an email with the first 25 results and a link into Scopus to see all new results.

For more information, see How do I create a Search Alert?

Document Citation Alert

Keep you informed when a document cites a specific document. Can be scheduled to the alert at certain intervals. If any new results are found, you will receive an email with the first 25 results and a link into Scopus to see all new results.

For more information, see How do I create a Document Citation Alert?

Author Citation Alert

Keep you informed when a document cites a specified author. Can be scheduled to run at certain intervals. If any new results are found, you will receive an email with the first 25 results and a link into Scopus to see all new results.

For more information, see Author Citation Alerts.
